WAVEFILTER IMAGE FEATURES

IMAGE FILTERS
Image Filters mathematically alter your image. Use them to shorten your rendering times, prep your frames for compositing or to apply interesting effects.

COLOR FILTERS
Use color filters to color correct the selected part of the image. Multiply, Add or Replace RGB colors; or adjust the Contrast, Mid tone, Gamma, Luminance, or Bright level.

MATTE FILTERS
Matte Filters create matte and clip map files. These files can be used by other programs for high quality compositing.

FILTERS AFFECT
WaveFilter Image can apply all effects to the entire image, background only, objects only, shadow channel or within a selected color range. Often, when multiple passes are used, each pass will select a different portion of the image to effect.

THE PREVIEW WINDOW
The color  preview window provides 3D artists with the ability to see the applied effects prior to completing the render. You can also preview other channels.

STATUS BARS
The WaveFilter Image Interface provides three separate status bars, located at the the bottom. Users will receive information pertaining to the filters and preview options being used.
