PREFERENCES

Edge Blend Passes (1-4)  - When using Image’s Edge Blend  Filter, you have the option of controlling how many passes of Edge Blend will be run. When using multiple passes, WaveFilter will blend once, then take the information after the initial pass and blend it, and
so on.  One pass is recommended in most situations, additional passes provide for a finer Edge Blend.

Show Affected as Black  - With the Edge Blend Filter and Show Threshold button selected, you can specify the affected edge to display in black instead of the default white.

Only Alpha Edges  - With Edge Blend selected as an Image Filter, you can specify the filter affect the Alpha edge only. This is great for achieving smooth edges when compositing.

Reduction Method  - When Palette is selected as an Image Filter, you can control the behavior of the color reduction with several reduction preferences:  Average, NTSC/PAL Luminance, HDTV Luminance, Nearest Red, Nearest Green and Nearest Blue.

Colored Grain  - The Colored Grain preference allows you to choose a color to apply to the image’s grain by clicking on the Grain Color Swatches. Without Colored Grain selected, the Grain Image Filter will only allow you to adjust the luminance value of the grain using the Grain Luminance Swatch.

Image Signature System (ISS)  - Reports the WaveFilter  ID that is embedded in a rendered frame, if rendered using WaveFilter’s Electronic Signature.

Enable Electronic Signature -  When selected, WaveFilter Image will embed the user’s WaveFilter ID  into all rendered frames. Similar to a watermark.

Animated Settings  - Allows you to add  null objects directly from the WaveFilter interface, giving you the ability to animate eighteen of the Image and Color Filters. See Animated Settings Tutorial..

30 Minute Post Timeout  - Activating the 30 Minute Post Timeout will turn the Post button selection off after 30 minutes, allowing an animation to continue rendering the remaining frames using the
active settings without displaying the WaveFilter Image interface.

Timeout Selections

Timeout Warning Beeps  -  With 30 Minute Post Timeout active, you can select Timeout
Warning Beeps to warn users that the WaveFilter interface is up and waiting for settings. Beeps will sound after twenty minutes and continue every minute for additional 10 minutes,
or until Post is deselected. After 30 minutes the render will automatically advance to the next
frame using the current WaveFilter settings.
